I think Father Quinel will tell him that his father is still alive, because his mother kept secrets, and i think they just got divorced and his father left them and went to live some where else.

I think that Father Quinel would have told Crispin that his father was a outcast or a wolf-head. I think that he is a outcast because Father Quinel tells him to flee for his life. That usually means that his father was not the best of people. But there also is a possibility that he could be a noble or king. He might have to flee for his life because he has a sum of money in his name that Crispin does not know about. They might try to get his money and that is why he has to flee. That is what I think Father quinel would have told Crispin about his father if he had the chance.

I think Father Quinel would tell Crispin that his father was a great man. And that he was very kind and loving to his wife, Asta. If he were still alive, he would be proud of Crispin for what he is doing, and he would be mad at John Acliff and the other men .for trying to kill his son.

Thats just my guess, but multibule things could have happened, like he hated his family so he ran away and never came back, or he was best friends with John Acliff, and he lived in the manor and killed people. We will never know now that Father Quinel is dead.

In chapter 8 we find out that "Asta's sons'' name is Crispin. We also find out that about Father Quinel told Crispin things about his mother that Crispin did not know. Father Quinel was also going to talk about his father but never did. I think Crispin's father is John Aycliffe because he accused him of a crime Crispin did not do, and out of every person in the village why did he choose to accuse Crispin?

Being aware of the context that almost all inhabitants of a manor would not have the ability to read (let alone write), hearing that Crispin's mother (a Serf/ peasant!) knew how to do both is quite shocking.
Of course, such improbabability usually has a reason, therefore I am led to believe that Crispin's family may not have always been peasants. In fact, I believe that Crispin's unknown father AND mother had once been apart of the upper class, which would explain his mother's ability to read and write. Yet, I am sure that some incident had occured, forcing Asta and her son, Crispin, to work as Serfs. Whether Crispin's father is alive or dead, I believe he holds/ had held an important position in the feudal system, perhaps leaving Crispin to be not who he thinks he is...

If this hidden identity is to exist, than I also believe it is the reason for John Acliffe's relentless attempts to kill Crispin.

I think that Father Quinnell would of told Crispin something, not mean, but something rather nice. I think that he would tell Crispin that his father was a knight, or some kind of being with higher feudal power. I think this because I think that Crispin would overthink what Father Quinnell would tell him.

Jet Tortolani said...

I think he would have told him that his father was a good man, but he had the same problem and got blamed for doing something he did not do. And his father was captured and sentenced to death. And I think the one who has done the crime was Cedric.

I think that Father Quinel will tell Crispin That his Father Was a robber and did bad things. Also, I think that Father Quinel will tell Crispin that he was a sinner and was not accepted by the church. Lastly, I think John Aycliffe is so hard on Crispin because he is somehow related to Crispin.

Izzy Sims said...

I think that father Quinel would have told Crispin about how his father had turned into a wolf's head also. I also think he could have given him advice for that. He could have explained how that all happened and how to fix it.

Ty Tharp said...

I think that Father Quinel will tell Crispin what his father did for a living and where he lived. If he lived in with them and died before he was old enough to remember or did he live in a bigger and freer city like Paris.

Diego Buenrostro Hernandez said...

i believe that he dose not want to tell Crispene because his dad might have done something bad and that is why they are punishing Crispine and that is why they made Crispine a wolf head

Tyler Diehl said...

Father Quinel would have told Crispin that even if God doesnt believe in you, your Dad would.

Luis Soriano said...

what I think Father Quinel would have told Crispin is that his father was still alive and that the cross with help him find his father and not to trust no one and good luck but... I also think that father Quinel is his father but highly doubt that because he is old

I ma going to to tell you what happened in chapter 5 and 6. What happened in chapter 5 was that the men, women, and children were in the fields at there lawful labor plowing, weeding, sewing where they would remain till dusk. And then the UN-named boy saw two horses with riders come from the manor house. He thought that one of the riders he new. Know later in the book it says that people on the horses they go into the church were Father Quinel was. When they got inside they rung the bell. Every on in the village crowded u in front of the church and they look at the cottages. Now in chapter 6 most of them their several ways some of them went back to the fields and others back to their cottages. The people on the horses they retreated back to the manor house. Some person he new named Steward went inside of the manor house with some villagers. The boy worst fear just came true: a gue and cry land had been raised against me.

I think that Father Quinel secret was that he was a wolf head just like his father. It could also be that his mother named him Crispin. Or maybe one of the secrets was that his other could actually read and write.

Maria Aguilar said...

I think Father Quinel's secret was that his mom was the one that named him Crispin. Or it could also be that he was able to read or write.

I think father Quinel will tell Crispin that his father my still be alive.
He might also tell him that his father was a wolf head and Crispin might go out trying to find him

Jeffrey Fitz Gibbon said...

I believe that Father Quinel (if he was still alive) would have told him that his father was just like Crispin. Not knowing his father, not being well-liked by his village, and not having much money. As well as that, I think that it is possible that Crispin's mother and father were higher on the feudal system before they had to move or flee to the village where Crispin has been declared a wolf's head.

Jacqueline_Eusebio said...

I think that Father Quinel is going to tell Crispin that maybe his dad is still alive and possibly looking for him.I also think maybe after they baptized Crispin he might have been tired of his family and left somewhere and since then has hidden from them.

Alexia Medina said...

I think Father Quinel Would have told Crispin about his father is that he still living and that his mother kept it a secret and the cross would have help find his father and if God doesn't have faith the cross will help him find him.

I think that father quinel will tell crispin that his father was really a king but dies before crispin knew of him.I think that Crispin has to flee because since his father was a king no one liked him.

Leslie Tellez said...

I think father Quinel secret is that Crispin is a wolf head same as his father was.I also think father Quinel told him to go run away because maybe his father might be alive and Crispin might find him.

Bryce Howard said...

I think Father Quinel was going to tell Crispin that his father was educated. Crispin's mother could read and write maybe Crispin's dad taught her how to, and his father may have been an important person but may have done something wrong and became a wolfs head and died.

Josh Perez said...

I think that he would have told him about his father that he was a wolfs head like his fathers or that he knew how to read and write.

Mitch Mirkowski said...

What he would tell Asta's son is about how his father acted before he was born. He will also tell him why he decided to kill himself before he was born. And the last thing is to find out why they didn't call him by his real name when he was born.

Ceasar Olvera said...

I think that Father Quinel would tell Crispin about his Father was a wolfs head.I think his Father would be a wolfs head because Crispin was accused if stealing from the Manor house and his Father probably stole and that's why they blamed Crispin.

Paola Pena said...

What I believe that Father Quinel is going to tell Crispen is that, his father was a disgrace to the village and that he was also a wolfs head. I also think that his mother did not tell him his name because it was a name related to his father and that she didn't want him to be an outcast as well. Another thing that Father Quinel could tell Crispen is that his mother and father were in an upper class because his mother could read and write and it was weird for a peasant to read and write. His mother probably went down a few classes after her husband's death.

Joseph Willis said...

I believe Father Quinel would have told Crispin that his Father was a trustworthy man, that made one mistake and was heavily punished for it. I believe if this is what was said, It would make sense for why the village didn't seem to like Crispin very much in the first place. Father Quinel may have also told Crispin that his father had a bad relationship with the village. I believe that if this is the case, the relation ship between the village and Crispin will make a lot more sense.

Nathan Marroquin said...

I think father Quinel would have told him that his father had a lot of power and the steward wants him dead so he doesn't take his power so that why he casts him as a wolfs head so he can kill him and no one will know that Crispin has more power than him and he cam keep his power.I think father Quinel wants Cripsin to flee so he doesn't put himself in danger because they will not listen to him they will kill him.

Gianna Hernandez said...

I think father Quinel would have told Crispin that his father wasn't really a peasant. Also I think Crispin's father fell in love with peasant (Asta) and it was a forbidden love. I think because Crispin´s father was in a forbidden love with a peasant, when people found out he was baned from the town, but Crispin´s father is still alive trying to find his way to Crispin and Asta, but Crispin´s father doesn´t know that Asta dead.

I think he would of told crispin that his father also, had to flee but unfortunaly was killed and had to leave him alone with his mother asta.

Heidi Ramirez said...

I think that Father Quinel would tell Crispin that his father was going to be lord Furnival but John Aycliff took advantage of his death and then became lord Furnival and didn't want Father Quinel to tell Crispin so he slit his throat and now Crispin won't know because he's leaving the place.

Daniel Acuna said...

I think Father Quinel would have told Crispin something bad about his father. I think one possibility would be that his father wasn´t accepted from the church. Another possibility would be that his father was declared a wolf´s head.

I think that father Quinel would have told Crispin that his dad was a bad guy because he stole things before he was born ,but after Crispin was born he had left the village and had not been heard of ever again

Abby Payne said...

I think father Quinel was going to tell Chrispin that his father was very important to the village and had a special duty. However one day he did something really bad that the village people did not like so they went after him and killed him. His mother might have been ashamed about what he did so she decided to tell people he died from the plague. That is what I think father Quinel would have told Chrispin about his father.

Jessica Castro said...

Before Father Quinel died he promised to Crispin that he would tell him about his father but never did for the reason that he was dead. I think he would've warned Crispin about his father because maybe he had done something bad in the past so that would be a reason that he left or Crispin's mother made him leave to protect her son from him. Since Father Quinel tells Crispin to flee for his life it could mean that it is urgent to leave because it dangerous. I sounds like as if he was saying not to just flee for his life but to focus on escaping John Aycliffe specifically for some reason.

Syerra Schneider said...

I think that Father Quinel would have told Crispin that his father was important to the village. I think that he also might have told Crispin that his father was a wolf head like Crispin.

I think that father Quinel mightve told Crispin that there might still be a possibility of his father being alive, and might be staying somewhere else.

I think father Quinel would have told Crispin that his father was a good man to the village, all the people,he would also tell him about his life, and what he did.But then he did something bad and someone had killed him. That's why people didn't like Crispin or his mother and Maybe his mother didn't want to tell Crispin about his father because she was ashamed of him.

Emily Thomas said...

I believe that Father Quinel would have told Crispin that his father was really a great man, or that he was somebody important in their village. Father Quinel may have also told Crispin that Crispin's father knew how to read and write and taught Crispin's mother how to read and write. I believe this because when the priest was talking about Crispin's name, he brought up Crispin's father, and that may have something to do with reading and writing. Also, Father Quinel brought up Crispin's father as if he were important. This is what I think Father Quinel would have told Crispin about his father.

Daylan Mcfall said...

I believe he would tell him on how his father died and about his secret life.

Avery Roche said...

I believe that Father Quinel would have told Crispin about his father's life growing up. I think he would have told him that maybe he was a wolf's head also, and his father was hiding. The same thing that is happening to Crispin happened to him. I think he would of said that his mother didn't know that his father had to hide somewhere and people might of made a rumor that he died. I think his father is still alive, but dying. That is what I think Father Quinel would have told Crispin about his father.

Joared Basulto said...

I think Father Quinel would tell Crispin that his father is steel alive. Father Quinel will also tell him that his father had to run away. Crispin's dad ran away from the village because he did something and if he did not go from that village he will get killed so he left. Crispin's mom did not want Crispin to know about his father because he left both of them so she just never told Crispin about his father.

Luis Vasquez said...

I think that Father Quinel will tell Crispin that his father was also a wolf's head. I also think that maybe he would have told him how his father became a wolf's head. So this is what I think Father Quinel would have told Crispin about his father.

Father Quinel will probably tell that Crispin that his father was probably very important or not. Father Quinel will probably tell why Crispin's dad left his mother and also the town.

In chapter 8 Astas son found out that his real name was Crispen and that Father Quinel would tell Crispen if his father. He might tell Crispen if his father was alive or not or about how the parents met and why he left. He might have also told him who his father was and what he does now. Also it could be like his father could too read and write just like his mother.

Mariana Ramirez said...

I think father Quinel would have told Crispin that his father was him or that his father was also a wolfs head but like Crispin it was a fraud or that his father wasn't really dead but was John Aycliffe's. Or also that his father left his mom and him for a different family.

Guiomar Guerrero Arcos said...

I think father Quinel will tell Crispin that his father was like rick and left them because they didn't have any money and because people culd not know that he had a child with a poor women.

I think father quinel will tell crispin the his father is going to die. Also that his father made a very bad choice to become a wolfs head.

I think he would have told Crispin that he was actually a member of the higher class aka nobility. Also he would have found out that his father did not die of the plague but his mother kept this from him to keep him safe.

Natalie Haro said...

I think Father Quinel would have told Crispin that his father did something bad to the village and no one liked him or his mom and his mom was very sad and disappointed at the same time because no one really like him and that the village made him leave because he wasn't treating them with respect.

If Father Quinel would have said about Crispin's father, I think maybe he did something really bad to make Crispin a wolf's head.

In chapter 8 Father Quinel tells Asta's Son which is Crispin. Father Quinel warns Crispin that he must flee for his life, and promises to tell Crispin about his father before he leaves. I think that Father Quinnel was going to tell Crispin that his father was a good man and a strong person! But his village got mad at him for doing something and they killed him and made up a lie about it so that others wouldn't know they had killed him.

Rebecca Trejo said...

I think Father Quinel would have told Crispin that his father was some kind of criminal or died from something other than the plague. Since I don´t know anything about Crispin´s father, and we can´t fully trust the priest in my opinion, I think Crispin´s father has many secrets he didn´t tell anybody.

I think that because Father Quinel was hesitant about telling Crispin because he believed he would be in so much shock he wouldn't be able to leave the next day. I think that Father Quinel was going to tell Crispin that his father was John Aclyffe.

I think that Father Quinel was going to tell Crispin that his Dad was alive and well but his Dad had to leave because he was wolf's head and he couldn't stay in the Village. Then Father Quinel was going to show him the way to his father.

I think Father Quinel would have told Crispin more truth about his father, but I think it will be mostly lies because I think the priest isn´t fully trustworthy. Although, I do belive he would have said at least some truth.
