After Bear and Crispin enter a village and give their performance many of the villagers are eager to talk to them and ask them many questions. Why are these villagers so curious? What makes their lives and the lives of Bear (and now Crispin) so different from their own? Use examples in your answers.

Remember to write using proper grammar, answer all the questions and do a good job!

If this answer will be used as one of your required comments be sure to submit it in ECHO as well. Remember to copy and paste both the Question (in the title box) and your response (in the content box) into the Echo journal activity #1, #2 or #3.

If you are using this for extra credit look at the grading rubric before writing your response. Extra credit comments do not get submitted in ECHO.

The villagers are probably asking a lot of questions because maybe they thought it was cool to be a juggler or playing the recorder. I think the kid in the back has probably recognized Crispin as "The Murderer". And will try to receive his bounty. Their lives are different because the villagers are not a criminal or a wolfs head. And they're not living their lives on the run.

@Why i think there so interested in bear and Crispin and Bear because. They know how to sing and dance and play music. Lots of people back then did not know how to play music and write and read and do all this other stuff and only a portion of people new how to do all of those thing and that is why those kids and people had so many questions.

The villagers are curious because they are strangers. Bear and Crispin's life is so different from their own because they move around and have fun and the villagers have not seen anything accept their village.

I think the villagers are so curious because not many people can performe like that and play music. They could also be curious because Bear and Crispin are strangers and they can be a little afraid because there was a murder on the loose.

I think the villagers are so eager to talk to Crispin and Bear because their lives are so much different from theirs, and since the villagers live in a village, people coming by with very different lives might be rare and unusual to them. Which would spark their curiosity towards them and bombard them with questions. What makes
Crispin´s and Bear´s lives different from the villagers´ lives is that they don´t live in a particular place, and they have a few unique skills while the majority of the villagers might not.

I think that the villagers are curios because the villagers are not used to seeing people with such talents. The villagers in this town are probably used to a regular schedule, or life. Bear and Crispin make their money traveling. I also believe that the reason Crispin and Bear travel is because if they were to stay in one kingdom, the citizens would get tired of their act.

I think that the people are so interested in Bear and Crispin is because they have skills and talents, such as singing, dancing, and playing an instrument. Very few people knew how to do those things. Also the people are so impressed of what they can do.

I think the villagers were so curios because they are strangers to the village and I think they thought it was cool that Bear was dancing, juggling, singing and when Crispin was playing the recorder. Bear and Crispin's life is so different because the people in that village don't know how to sing, dance, juggle, or play a recorder. The people in that village are not wolfs head and they are not criminals.

I think that the villagers are so curious and eager to know how they can play music, dance, sing, and have all these skills is because they are just villagers they weren't taught this. So for Bear and Crispin to have them they are curious as to how they learned. Their lives are different from Bear's and Crispin's because the villagers farm. That is the only thing they know. They have just been introduced to all the things that they are doing. Not only that but some probably don't even know how to read or write.

I think the villagers are curios because they didn´t know cripin could play the flute and they probably thought that bear was using magic to juggle the balls. They mustve thought crispin and bear had a teacher or something that taught them how to do it.

I think that people are more interested in bear and crispin is because they are able to do many things that other people cant do. For example they can both play instruments , write , read , and many other things. Although their lives are very different the villages aren't considered a crime or a wolf's head.

The villagers are so curios of Bear and Crispin because they are strangers to the village and they can also sing and dance.Their lives is different from everybody else's life in the village id because for one Crispin is a wolfs head who's on the run,and Bear knows how to read and write which the villagers do not know how to.

Gianni Izzi said...

I think the villagers were asking a lot of questions because they probably have never seen a juggler and heard the sound of music in there life because they just work in the fields all day. They also have probably never seen new-comers, and also I think the kid in the back thought Crispin was the boy who murdered the priest, who probably wanted the money for his bounty.

Seth Daniel said...

I think that the villagers were so curious of Bear and Crispin because they wanted to know how they did what they did so that they might know it too and be able to get money. The people's lives were very different from Crispin's life because he had to run from his village and he was proclaimed a wolf's head.

I think the villagers are so curious because they think they are very talented and they probably want to know where they learned their talent. They are also curious because they are new and strangers they want to know about them.I think their lives are different because Bear and Crispin get to spend their life having fun and juggling, and the villagers have to work and stay in heir village because they don't have enough money.

Bryan Sanchez said...

I think the villagers are so curios and want to ask questions to Bear and crispin because they probably have never seen anybody in their village juggle balls. And I think the difference between then and now of crispin and bear is that now that they have each other they can work as a team to learn new things from each other and go in adventures they've never been before.

Alexia Medina said...

I think the villagers are asking a lot of questions is because maybe they want to know because the villagers don't have a chance to do the stuff Crispin and bear do. The difference's between bear and Crispins life is Crispin is just a boy that doesn't know much about his life and bear does more stuff like do different things than Crispin.

Angelica Ochoa said...

I think that the villagers know somethig about crisin or mayde they think it really cool to see people juggle.Bear and chrispin's life is so different from their own because they travel a lot and are more free and the villagers have not had much experience with traveling.

Lealin Lek said...

The reason they are wondering is because Crispin learned to play the recorder and most people didn't know how to play music so they thought he was a amazing person

Celeste Elena Avila said...

The villagers are so curious because Bear and Crispin can do these incredible things that they know how to do but no else knows how to do these amazing talents. For an example Bear can juggle, sing, and dance and Crispin can play the recorder. Also both of them know how to read and write .But most people can't do these things.Their lives and the lives of Bear (and now Crispin) so different from their own because most of the villager can't do anything their are just farmer , and most of the farmer can't dance, sing or even read or write . But Bear and Crispin knows how to do all these amazing things that most people can't do.

Christian Hernandez said...

I think the villagers were interested in bear and crispin because there weren't that much people doing that kind of stuff. And they are strangers to their village and they heard that a guy murdered father quinnell.

Emily Thomas said...

I believe the villagers are very curious because Bear and Crispin might be new to the town, or the villagers have never seen Bear and Crispin and want to know what it is like to be a juggler or a music player. Also, the villagers may want to know how to juggle, how to play music, why they are doing their job, etc. This makes the villagers' lives different now because they ow possibly know about entertainment people, and when the villagers watch Bear and Crispin, they probably forget about all of the troubles or things in the village, and they can just be happy and relax. This makes Bear's life different because Bear now isn't known as some stranger on the street, he is known as an entertainer or juggler, and this makes Crispin's life different because he isn't known as a murder or a wolf's head, he is now known as a music player and Bear's son. This is why I think the villagers are asking so many questions, and how I think that the villagers, Bear, and Crispin's life are now different from their original lives.

The villagers ask questions because the might want to know a little of who they are and what there life is like traveling to many different places and performing. Bear and crispin´s life´s are different from the villagers because the travel to many places and learned so much about the world while the villagers work and don´t travel.

From we have seen so far, village life is not the most exciting. Why, even in the first chapters of the story, when Crispin is describing his time in Stromford before he ran away, nothing of interest really seems to happen at all. Of course it caused a bit of arousal in the village people when John Aycliffe had called a man-hunt for Crispin, but I am going to assume that that instance has never happened in the village where Bear and Crispin visited. As stated in a previous blog post(s) (Whose intuition I honestly commend) education/skill in reading and writing were hardly accesible -if not at all- to Midieval village folk, and likewise, the concept of music or instruments was most likey almost as alien to the people as reading or writing. (Probably because the people would never hae time to practice such things, since they are always working. The same goes for juggling as well.) Due to these circumstances,I am sure the village people would be curious as to how Bear and Crispin do these things. Of course, they might just want to ask what it is like to be constantly travelling outside, since they will probably never leave their village in their life-time. And if any further explanation is needed as to why the villagers would care about these things, well, let's admit. Humans are usually going to be curious of what they do not have, and the luxeries that Bear and Crispin are getting in being able to travel and learn of music, will most like likely NEVER be available to these village-folk.

I think that the villagers are so curious of Bear and Crispin because they don't see people with such great talent like them everyday its very rare in these villages. They want to ask them so many questions and talk to them because they are amazed and very entertained because of what they are doing they probably want to learn. The difference between there lives and Bears and now Crispins is that they all work they don't have time to learn these types of skills like Crispin and Bear have.

Also, I think they we eager to ask questions because they were excited and wanted to dance also. Their lives are so different because they probaly work a lot and they don't just dance and have fun.

I think The villagers are curious because their life isn't so interesting and they don't see people like Crispin and bear with such talent and also they might be asking questions because Bear and Crispin don't look alike.

I think that the villagers were asking so many questions because the didn't live there lives going to town to town performing.I think these villagers are so curious because they are guessing that they know a lot of towns and maybe have met some important people.

I think the villagers are so curious because they think they have great talent and they probably want to know where they got there talent from. Also because they are new people that are entering there village.I think there lives are different because Bear and Crispin get to spend their time doing what ever they want and villagers have no time to do anything else than work and stay there also because they don´t have a lot of money.

Cesar Garcia said...

I think that the people are intrested in Bear and crispin beacuse they do not see that many people talent like its rae in the villages. The differnce betweeen there lives Bears and crispin is that they don't have a lot of time to learn skills and other things like how Crispin has and also bear them have types of skills.

Joared Basulto said...

I think that the villagers are eager to talk to them because probably they think that the show that Bear and Crispin did was so good. Another reason is that they are really interested in how good of a juggler Bear is and how good Crispin is. The villagers life is so different from Bears and Crispin because Bear and Crispin get to go around the world and perform and they get paid really good while the villagers stay and work on the fields and they get paid a little. They also have to serve someone while Bear and Crispin get a free live.

I feel like the villagers are curious of Bear and Crispin because it seems like not many exciting things happen in these villages. For example, that's probably why John Aycliffe proclaimed Crispin a Wolf's head, not much happens in the village so he wanted something interesting. They also got very interested because it looks like there weren't many things back then that you could do to not be bored. Another example is that its cool to see someone juggle and play music at the same time.

Mohammed Steyteyieh said...

They are eager to ask Bear and Crispin of many questions because they oddly came about with stunning and crowd stealing pizzazz. The villagers are curious because Bear`s performance came out of the ordinary without an explanation. What makes his life different is that of his exploration and his nomadic lifestyle.

I feel like the villagers are wonering if bear and crispin because there isnt that many happy things happening in the villge. for an example when John was there they had a lot of fun stuff listen to music and more .

Joslyn Powers said...

They were probably curious because they haven't seen anyone do what they are doing before. In their lives, they have to do specific things and have to listen to the Lord of that Manor, while Bear and Crispin don't have to listen to a specific person and can go around freely.

A reason the villagers could be so curious about Bear and Crispin could be because they don't they don't have many performers come to their village. They were also amazed by them and wanted to more about them. It could also be because of their clothing or their size cause Bear is really tall. Bears and Crispins lives are very different because they sleep in the forest while people in the village live in houses. Bear and Crispin search for food like the time when Bear went of to get food and tied up Crispin. While the villagers pay for food.

Lealin Lek said...

the villagers are curious because they are outsiders and crispin knows how to play music on the recorder and not many people could play music then plus they are free.

I think the villagers are so curious because bear and Crispin just came out of no were and they didn't really know bear and Crispin also maybe because they were impressed that bear and Crispin could have those talents. The lives of Bear and Crispin makes it different now because when Crispin is with bear people don't see Crispin as a wolf head.

I think the villagers liked seeing Bear and Crispin perform because I think that not many people like to play music there because there was never any mention of music playing like it was a festival. They also want to get ton know these talented people better because they probably don't have very many talented people. The lives of Bear and Crispin are very unlike the villagers because Bear and Crispin are constantly going from town to town and I am sure the villagers don't travel much to me it seems like they all like spending time together.

Abagail Gonzalez said...

I think these people are eager in talking to Bear and Crispin because it's probably not every day they see people coming into town singing and performing. For some people, this might even be the first time something like that has happened. So, of course, they'd have questions to ask, like where they're from and how they do that.
